Beef with Asparagus 牛肉炒芦笋

The fastest dish in the whole system — under six minutes, start to finish.

Start with my Beef Master Marinade — this uses one portion from that batch. The garlic here is the frozen, prepped garlic from Part 1.

Ingredients

  • Marinated beef (1 portion, ~454g / 1 lb)
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced (use your frozen prepped garlic)
  • 1 tbsp (6 g) ginger, sliced
  • 1 bunch asparagus, cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • Black pepper, ground, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat oil until hot, add marinated beef, stir-fry quickly until color changes. Remove beef, set aside.
  2. With the oil left in the pan, add garlic and ginger, stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add asparagus, stir-fry 1 minute.
  4. Return beef to the pan. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper.
  5. Toss well, serve hot.

💚 Chinese Mom Tip: Sear the beef first and pull it out — searing it a second time at the end keeps it tender instead of overcooked.
