Beef with King Oyster Mushrooms is a rich and hearty dish that combines tender beef slices with meaty, savory mushrooms. The king oyster mushrooms soak up the delicious sauces, creating a perfect balance of textures and flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 2 king oyster mushrooms, thinly sliced

  • 3 tbsp cooking oil

  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced

  • 5 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • Black pepper, to taste (optional)

  • 1 lb marinated beef (using Method 1 or 2 check previous post for best marinate method)

Instructions:

  1. Heat 3 tbsp cooking oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the thinly sliced king oyster mushrooms and stir fry until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.

  3. In the same wok, add the garlic and onion. Stir fry until fragrant.

  4. Add the marinated beef and stir fry on high heat until the beef changes color.

  5. Return the cooked king oyster mushrooms to the wok and mix with the beef.

  6. Season with black pepper (if using), oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Stir well to combine all ingredients evenly.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy with steamed rice.
